We wanted to give all of our boarders an opportunity to be able to access news, updates and changes to the calendar collectively. We know it's difficult to keep up with the ever changing lesson schedule, upcoming events, travel to shows etc. It is obvious the benefits of sharing this information with all of you however, since Sport Horse is also our home we ask everyone's discretion in keeping this information confidential. We consider ourselves very lucky that we've not been victims of theft or worse crimes during our time here and with the couple of recent incidents in the immediate area we are reminded that no one is immune to these acts! We hope to keep up on all barn news here and would appreciate any feedback in regard to it's usefulness.

Wash Rack Update...

March 17, 2022/ Sport Horse Inc.

As many of you were aware, the wash rack has been clogged for a few days and we finally managed to get it up and running yesterday. It appears that horse hair from body clipping and mane pulling was the main culprit. The mats in the wash rack are designed to be anti-slippery so unfortunately they will also “hold on” to a lot of the hair even after sweeping with the broom. We are coming into the time of year where having a wash rack is essential for bathing and hosing off sweaty horses. The wash rack is for hosing only, no clipping or mane pulling! Thank you :)
